ECN forex brokers are non-dealing desk brokers, meaning that these broker do not take the other side of the trade, but rather they pass the trades on directly to third party liquidity providers.
The system consolidates price quotes from several market participants and offers traders exclusive and tighter bid/ask spreads than they normally would have access to.
